Kanzenban
Kazenban, translated roughly to "Perfect Collection" is slightly larger than its tankoubon counterpart. But what makes this version of the manga so perfect? All colored title pages, and colored manga pages that were originally released in the sho-comi magazine are shown here in all its glory. The pages are also printed on higher quality gloss paper. Plus there are tons of extras throughout the book!
Bunko
Bunko or pocket editions, are smaller versions of the tankoubon. They compress the series into a smaller amount of volumes to make it easier for new readers to collect. Bunko have no extras like the authors comments, or extra illustrations. Its just the manga, nothing more nothing less.
Novels
The Fushigi Yuugi novels are side stories of the Fy gang. Written by Megumi Nishizaki and illustrated by Yuu Watase. With the exceptions of the two Eikouden and Sanpouden novels (which takes place after fy) the novels focus on telling side stories of each warrior, before Miaka came into their world.
